Our mission is to glorify God by equipping students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

At OVCA Preschool, this means we are providing the very best in foundational education and care we can provide.  We emphasize the total toddler beginning at 24 months old through pre-kindergarten.  Our academic program coupled with all day care for your little one is truly the best of both worlds.

Our Program

Our academic program is based on sound educational theory and incorporates a thematic approach.  It is through this thematic approach that learning concepts are presented in an engaging and relevant way.

Mornings

In our morning Academic Program, focus is given to phonics and language, fine motor skill, science, pre-math, social science, and, of course, Bible.  These concepts are divided and arranged systematically to address the developing young mind in an engaging way.

Afternoons

Our afternoon Applied Program addresses the pre-schooler’s natural curiosity for the world around them and their need to develop strong and healthy bodies.  Hands on activities, communication and gross motor skills are key components in our Applied Program.

Program Highlights

Academics

As a complete K-12 college preparatory academy, academics is something we take seriously.  Our preschool uses Bob Jones Press curriculum.  Emphasis is placed on early phonics/pre-reading, early math, and fine motor skills in preparation for Kindergarten.

Events

There is always something going on at OVCA Preschool.  Throughout the year you and your child will most likely receive information on events like orientation, our annual school wide Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts, the Christmas program, the spring Trike-A-Thon, our special Mother's Day Tea, preschool graduation ceremonies, the Father's Day cookout, parties galore, and a whole lot more!

Lunch Program

OVCA Preschool is proud to offer a full lunch program.  Of course, you are welcome to pack a lunch for your little Patriot, but if it suits your schedule, we have lunch covered for you.  Our full service cafeteria provides a reduced cost and portioned lunch menu just for our youngest Patriots.  You are welcome to order by the day or by the month.

Year 'round Care

OVCA Preschool operates with 3 terms, or trimesters.  The fall and winter terms mirror the K-12th grade semesters, plus we offer a 3rd summer term providing year around care for all of our preschool students.
We have two 1-week long breaks during the year, Christmas break and August break.
