Sixth Grade Trip InformationSixth Grade Parents,
Each year, a new group of sixth graders cap off their elementary school experience with the annual sixth grade trip. This year is no exception. Previous trips have included experiences like Hume Lake, Science Camp on Catalina, and Washington, DC. Regardless of the destination, there is certainly a measure of planning and effort that goes into a trip of this nature. As with other years, our goal for this trip is to add to our sixth grade educational experience by expanding our student’s perspectives on history, culture, creation and its Creator, as well as to allow them to experience the blessing that faithful study and hard work brings. It is our desire that every student attend this trip. This year our sixth graders will once again be traveling to Washington, DC. This trip is a life changing experience that opens each student’s horizon and exposes them to history and learning in way unlike any they could experience in the classroom. This trip is the capstone of our elementary program and will reach students in all four of foundational goals, spiritual, academic, social, and physical. We look forward to exploring history with your child. Sincerely, Tim Rutherford Vice Principal [email protected] “Purposing Hearts” |
