2020-2021 ORIENTATION
Welcome to the 2020-2021 OVCA School year
Although it is always nice to gather together for orientation, see your child's classroom, and meet our wonderful faculty and staff, we are moving our annual orientation sessions online in order to facilitate a socially distanced and safe orientation experience. Below you will find all the information you need to help your child have a safe and successful start to the school year at OVCA.
HOW TO ATTEND OUR ONLINE ORIENTATION
After viewing our orientation introduction with Principal Johnson, complete the following items:
1. Watch the corresponding at-home learning overview for your child.
2. Using your child's class schedule, watch the corresponding videos for each class and download any class resources you might need. We recommend that you watch the videos with your child. For example, after watching the primary orientation video, if your child is enrolled in kindergarten, you and your child would also watch the video labeled "Kindergarten." If your child is enrolled in Chemistry, you and your child would watch the video titled, "Chemistry."
3. Once you have watched the primary orientation video and the corresponding videos for your child, complete the short form in your Family Portal account to let us know that you viewed the videos and what you thought about them.
